Advanced Pressure Systems (APS) offers a wide range of control guns for water blasting operations. There are several categories from which to choose depending on the application and the intended working pressure.

There are Foot Control Guns, which are operated by activating a foot pedal. These are often used in rigid and flex-lancing* applications. These guns may be Dump Style guns which release the pressure at the gun by opening a valve which discharges to atmosphere, or the Shut-Off Style, which usually releases the flow back to the supply side via an un-loader valve.

The second major category covers Hand Operated Control Guns. Like the Foot Guns these can be Dump Style or Shut-Off type for controlling the water flow. These guns are used for a very wide range of applications.

Each of the control guns types mentioned is sub-divided into pressure groups. These are:

  • For pressures up to 15,000 psi (commonly called 15K)
  • For pressures up to 20,000 psi (20K – this is called - Medium Pressure)
  • For pressures up to 40,000 psi (40K – this is called – High Pressure or Ultra High Pressure)

APS offers a range of Control Guns in each of the categories and pressure ratings mentioned.

* (SAFETY WARNING: THE FOOT GUN MUST ALWAYS BE ACTIVATED BY THE OPERATOR PERFORMING THE LANCING OPERATION. A SECOND OPERATOR SHOULD OPERATE THE PUMP WITHIN SIGHT OF THE LANCING OPERATOR)

CONTROL GUNS CAN CAUSE INJURY OR DEATH IF USED INCORRECTLY. APS REQUESTS AND REQUIRES THAT ALL PERSONNEL USING THIS EQUIPMENT BE PROPERLY TRAINED IN ITS USE, AND THAT THEY ARE FULLY AWARE OF THE FOLLOWING PUBLICATION:
